Elizabeth Hale Knox is happy to work with individuals who are interested in taking their singing to the highest level. Through one-on-one voice lessons, Elizabeth Hale Knox will help you develop, improve and refine your singing so you can reach your highest vocal potential.
Elizabeth requires potential students to have experience singing in a chorus or choir, or to have taken instrumental classes or prior voice lessons. *
Sing at Your Highest Level
In your individual voice lessons, Elizabeth will concentrate on your specific needs, focusing on technique refinement and coaching you on how to increase the beauty, range and power of your voice.
Specifically, Elizabeth can help you:
- Redress vocal problems
- Maximize control and expressiveness of your instrument
- Prepare for auditions, competitions, and productions
Voice lessons are typically half-hour or hour long sessions.
Rates
$35/half hour for adult students (over 18 years)
$30/half hour for students 18 years old and under
Voice lessons take place in a nurturing environment, and along with vocal technique, may cover any of the following topics:
- Sight singing
- Music theory
- Diction—English and foreign language
- Analysis of the vocal text
- Performance preparation
Not only do you receive practical feedback every week, but you also can tape your sessions to evaluate your progress and work on specific issues before your next class.
You also have the opportunity, once a year, to perform in a recital showcasing all students of Elizabeth’s studio.
